Theme: National Tourism Day
The assembly commenced by welcoming all participants by the class teacher and soon handed over to the MC of the event Advait Karthik.
MC introduced himself before the audience and requested his friend Sai Pranith to offer Morning Prayer on behalf of everyone. With Omkar and prayer, our morning assembly officially began and proceeded with Thought for the day by Ilan Balamurugan and sharing News Headlines by Krisha B.
The significance of National Tourism Day was highlighted by MC with a presentation presenting the same. With that note Dheeshith I K shared his student talk on “Visit to Mysore”. Dheeshith not only shared his visit to Mysore palace and Zoo but also uplifted the glory and pride of Mysore palace in his talk.
The session then proceeded with a narrated video by Mukul Srikanth about his classmates’ visit to different tourist attractions in India. To show the variety of culture in India, Jahnavi Mahalingam performed a beautiful dance on the song “Des Rangila” and tried to express the different dance forms in India.
Our pride lies in unity in diversity; Shreyansh Singh tried to express this with his song “Saare Jahan Se Achha”.
In the class teacher’s talk, she tried to convey the importance of protecting Tourism in India. She encouraged students to follow dos and don’ts at tourism attractions and thus help society to educate about protecting public property.
The purpose of selection of theme is told as “to take an oath that we will strictly follow the dos and don’ts at tourism places and try to protect the beauty, history, and uniqueness of great heritage of India to justify the brand title ‘Incredible India’ “.
The event then proceeded with the Academic Coordinator and CCA Coordinator’s talk before extending our gratitude with a vote of thanks by MC Advait.
